Thaddeus Dixon often known as "The Music Man" is one of the most sought after musicians, producers, songwriters, and music directors of this generation. Hailing from Detroit, MI Thaddeus started making music at the early age of 4 years old. Thaddeus graduated from Detroit High School For Fine & Performing Arts, which after led him to obtain a scholarship in Jazz Studies from Michigan State University. After completing his degree and receiving a Bachelor of Music Thaddeus began taking his musical talent a step further & maturing his skills in music production, as well as education by becoming an instructor in the music department at University of California Berkeley.
Thaddeus has had the privilege of touring, performing, and or recording with many accomplished artists such as NeYo, Lea Michele, Young Jeezy, Ariana Grande, Deitrick Haddon, Roy Hargrove, Talib Kweli, Sean Kingston, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Ginuwine, Cody Simpson, Meghan Trainor, Adam Lambert, Deborah Cox, Rick Ross, French Montana, Bryson Tiller and more. He’s been featured on TV shows such as NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers, MTV’s Making His Band, performed on The Today Show, 106 & Park, Live With Kelly, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon, Late Night w/ Seth Myers, Good Morning America, and Big Morning Buzz Live. It would be a folly not to mention the great pleasure he’s had performing at The White House, Carnegie Hall and a variety of other historic, world renowned events centers and venues.
Most recently Thaddeus has been seen on various television and award shows with Meghan Trainor, John Legend, Adam Lambert, and Bryson Tiller. Thaddeus is currently the music director and drummer for several major label artists. When Thaddeus is not touring he's producing, writing, and recording which he's been apart of several singles for major label artists. Thaddeus' most recent placement he produced/wrote is "Better When Im Dancin" sung and co-written by Meghan Trainor which is featured in The Peanuts movie. The song was in contention for an Oscar at the 2016 Academy Awards for best original song, and won a Radio Disney Music Award in the category of Best Song That Makes You Smile. Thaddeus also wrote and produced music in E! networks recent reality series "LA Clippers Dance Squad".
